DAKON is coming to Romania! We'll wait all the metal fans from Iasi city, Tuesday, 10 - April – 2007, starting hours 19:00, Club Sundays (Ethos) – Student’s House, at a metal action with the bands: DAKON ~ brutal death-metal, Chisinau, Moldova FORTRESS OF FAITH ~ Gothic Metal - Bucuresti, Romania HATHOR ~ BLACK/Death Metal - Galati, Romania KREPUSKUL ~ Death/Gothic/Experimental Metal - Cluj Napoca, Romania Official page event: concertgaladriel.marte.ro Despite the difficulties caused by the actual visa regime, Dakon is finally heading to Iasi to present the “Tatraquetum” album. Moldova: DAKON, ABNORMYNDEFFECT si SEPSYS iti dau intalnire Sambata, 2 dec 2006, ora 18:00, pret 40 lei, in Casa de Cultura a Feroviarilor, sala Mare, situata pe adresa bd, Decebal 2, or Chisinau. DAKON va prezenta pentru prima oara "Tetraquetum" pentru fanii chisinaieni. Fara introduceri cu trupe incepatoare, din start vom trece direct la greul lucrurilor....
Se vor vinde cd-uri ale trupelor mai sus mentionate, inclusiv si DAKON. Seara se anunta GREA! Intrarea e OBLIGATORIE pentru toti!

Long waited concert with the most brutal bands of R. Moldova: DAKON, ABNORMYNDEFFECT and SEPSYS, will meet you on Saturday, 2 dec 2006, 18:00 hour, price 40 lei, place: "Casa de cultura a Feroviarilor", bd Decebal 2, Chisinau. DAKON will play the "TETRAQUETUM" album for the metal fans from Chisinau. There will be no introductions, straight to the heavy point . There will be band's merchendise: Cd's albums and stuff...you will be able to buy the "Tetraquetum".

After a long annoying brake of some months now, DAKON will head to Iliceovsk, Ukraina, on 24 of October to perform in a true brutal action organized by Metal Special, in Golden Lion Rock Club, (more info for those who understand russian right - here - www.rock.od.ua ). The metal hordes are MUCOPUS (USA), DATURA (UA), VIOLENT VORTEX (UA), AWOKEN (UA). See you there, take care!

"Tetraquetum"

Dakon comes from Moldova, desert on the metal map of the world (by the opinion of metal-archives.com they have there only sixteen bands). You may think that it is so underdeveloped in what concerns hard music and there can't be created a good album. But it can!
"Tetraquetum" is only promo, because the band is still looking for a label. Radu, Oleg, Serghey and Andrey plays technical, a bit melodious, in some moments progressive death metal. Two well harmonized guitars, genius solos and growl contribute to the general quality of the album. Then there's also a very good tone, a great cover and interesting interludes...it's perfect, but something is missing. Still the final result is very good.

Hail to you all! OK, the work is done. DAKON wants to apologize for this long delay. This PROMOTIONAL ALBUM IS CALLED "TETRAQUETUM". The truth is that the band is looking for a label, that's why, for now, it hasn't been released officialy. It contains 11 songs (music and lyrics by Radu) of DAKON's creation, here is the playlist:

This promotional album wouldn't have come alive without the talent and hard work of band's musicians: RADU, SERGHEY PETRENCO and OLEG COZMULICI. DAKON would like to thank to the following musicians whom we have colaborated with, their participation will never be forget. The band is planning gigs for promotional purposes for the end of this summer. As soon as the band will find a label to colaborate with, the album will be released officialy. Ciprian Florea from Maximum Rock Magazine considers the "Last Impulse Of Hope" demo:

"A material that delighted my ears trough a remarkable technic, especially the guitarists, but also from the composition's point of view. DAKON (ex Alter Ego) is coming from Moldavia and presents death-metal, not very brutal, melodically (Bolt Thrower would be a comparison, to understad what is it about) very technical, with many eruptions of rhythm (particularly well done) sending the style into progressive, with two guitars which make the perfect couple (plus plentifully solos). A band which may compete with known names from Eastern Europe..."

The original romanian version: "Un material ce mi-a incantat urechile prin tehnica remarcabila, in special, a chitaristilor, dar si din punct de vedere componistic. Dakon (ex. Alter Ego) sunt de provenienta din Republica Moldova si ne prezinta un death metal nu foarte brutal, mai mult melodic (Bolt Thrower ar fi cea mai buna comparatie pentru a va da seama cam despre ce e vorba), foarte tehnic, cu multe ruperi de ritm (extraordinar de bine puse la punct) trimitand genul abordat chiar spre progresiv, cu doua chitari ce fac cuplu perfect (plus solo-uri din abundenta pe toate cele trei piese). O trupa ce poate concura fara probleme cu nume mari ale Europei de Est... "
